Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
Still need help so I can actually use my vscode and get outputs please.
can u record a video or a ss to show what exactly happens
u didnt saved ur file
however it DOES show in a private instance
pretty sure it runs well in dedicated terminal
but when running it normally it wont work
press cltr+s
the file is saved on my pc
then run

even tried to reinstalling vscode cuz im not sure whats going on
u see that circle beside the name of ur file
it shows that the content in ur file isnt saved

have tried, no result in either output or the terminal
how are u running the file?
The top right corner the play button, and I also try right clicking the code and pressing run
tried both of those things
ur terminal is showing some different path and file is showing a different path
did u move the file?
Not really I just had this py file saved before
Saved in my downloads
.py file
alright kill that terminal and try again
Killed terminal, made a new terminal and still nothing lol
click on open folder
ok
and select ur downloads folder
bruh
well idk its not there
the way i opened it is open file
anything wrong with whats im doing
should i move it to a folder instead maybe
yes pls do
this is weird
when i moved it into the folder
and i pressed open folder
can see the folder, but cant see the item inside of it which is the py file
lmao
then what do u see?
zero items inside of it when doing that
ss pls

but its actually in there so idk lol
@proud urchin
great
anything else u recomend
should i allow typing in output with code runner
saw someone say that
have these extensions
oh nice
just wanna become good at python
lol
uh im in digital marketing
but i wanna maybe get my data analysis and data science skills higher xd
The Resources page on our website contains a list of hand-selected learning resources that we regularly recommend to both beginners and experts.
coolio
kind a speed runner
kinda
wanna see how fast i can get this down
aware of most variables
but im not sure if all data scientists for example know every single type of command
or if they just know how to executre the important commands to review and clean data and create
like for someone thats hired to use python at a job
they dont we just google it
xd
but the thing is interviews u gotta know ur stuff
also
u gotta be decent or else u might get fired xd
haha

yes
you had to learn python all over how could you speed run
basic variables are ez so i know that
I didnt speed run, its my 3rd year currently in college
ah i see
hmm
kinda wanna speed run though
lmao
will return to college here been mostly working lol
gonna do like cog science and take probably computing classes with it haha
but tbh comp sci in school is mostly math from what my friends told me
