Hi all! I installed Python just now and I'm following a tutorial on YouTube right now. I'm trying to do myname = 'dave' but this message appears. Does anyone have an idea on why?

You're typing on the command line not the python repl

you're currently in the terminal, not python
you can enter the python REPL (an interactive environment where you type 1 line of code and python executes it immediately) by typing py
or, you can make a .py file, write some code in it, and use python to run it
