hello, I have been trying for two days to launch a google apps scripts function from a python script but I don't understand anything with the APIs etc...

Where is your blocking point?

Have you tried the tutorials from GCP?
https://cloud.google.com/functions/docs/create-deploy-gcloud#get_the_sample_code

You can look at the Cloud Function ( or Cloud Run ) as the server which will execute your python script.
