🔒 why does the program not go into the second if statement

there is no errors but it still doesn't print any from the second if statement

i thought it would print yes or no but it just doesnt

The second if is inside the first else - so it will be checked only when first if is false

But: when the first else is run, the variables pieces_weight and part_is_even don't exist because they're created in first if
