Hi ! I'm using keyboard.on_press_key() in one of my projects ( looking for up, left, right, down and enter ) but, the thing is, when I input anything, it adds itself to the buffer, meaning that if after my code I ask for the user input, it's going to paste every single thing that I pressed during the code. Is there a way to clear the buffer before I ask for the user input ?

Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
Closes after a period of inactivity, or when you send !close.
you can replicate this with something like this :
end = False
def End():
global end
end = True
keyboard.on_press_key( 'a', lambda _: End() )
while ( not end ): continue
print( input() )
you'll see that everything you press before pressing "a" is going to add up and go inside your input()
Hmm, if you're making a terminal UI you could move away from keyboard into something more appropriate like blessed
blessed ?
!pip blessed
it's nice
thank you
yeah good luck with your project
I'm gonna look into it
