its an arbritray name but its just saying for each item in this list students sorted by name

print the student

u could say for each cow in this list of students by name

print the cow and it will give the same result

they define the name on the for student in

but you could say py for person in sorted(students, key=lambda student: student["name"]): print(f"{person['name']} is from {person['home']}")

the lamdba is actually a different function so this works with it still as student its not actually referring to the for ... in variable but idk if thats what ur asking abt

the lamdba is just saying sort the list by the key where if my dictionary is called student get student["name"] and sort by those
