conditional text join with if statement in excel so that i can get multiple values in one cell looks something like this =textjoin(delimiter,ignore text,if(A=B:B,C:C,"")
Can someone help me with converting this to python?

I'm not sure what you're looking for, here. From skimming the docs from it, it's like a str.join except it also flattens lists of strings and can ignore empty arguments. Can be written as a short-ish listcomp.

Here is the Excel documentation for its' TEXTJOIN and IF functions, if the problem you're having converting it to Python is that you're unsure which argument to the IF is the true-part and which corresponds to the else part.

TEXTJOIN function - Microsoft Support

The TEXTJOIN function combines the text from multiple ranges and/or strings, and includes a delimiter you specify between each text value that will be combined. If the delimiter is an empty text string, this function will effectively concatenate the ranges.
