Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

class Person:
def __init__(self, name):
self.name = name
self.is_alive = True
self.children = []
def add_child(self, child):
self.children.append(child)
def get_children_names(self):
for child in self.children:
return[child.name for child in self.children]
def dies(self):
self.is_alive = False
print("{} has died :(".format(self.name))
def count_living_descendants(self):
count = 0
for child in self.children:
if child.is_alive:
count += 1
count += child.count_living_descendants()
return count
You are only counting children if the are alive. This is OK. But you are only counting grandchildren etc if the direct children are alive. The question suggests to me that you should be counting ALL descendants (so long as they are alive).
