Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
What are the ways that you have tried already?
Pygame has a built in way
i got you. added the emoji
Are there angles in this collision or are all the boxes aligned with the grid?
The game is a simple block based game where the player just has squares as walls, with no extra angles.
The built in method should work then like Larmb mentioned
what would be the built in method, the only ones I can think of is collidepoint and colliderect.
colliderect is the one I am thinking of
see the problem is, is that this function does not check for direction.
The method returns true in an if statement, add a condition that checks for direction
thanks that works, It might not be what I though it would be but hey, it works perfectly fine.
