sorry I am on a mac I cannot make this like code

while True:
newvalue = value you checking
time.sleep(1) <--- change this to be able to change how fast it updates
if newvalue != value you checking:
# then the value has changed, put whatever you want to run here

make a thread with this and that it will be able to run whatever is where hte functino running I put is labeled
