Most online games don't want you automating access to their software. You'd have to check the ToS of the game.

As a matter of fact many games will detect that sort of activity and may ban your account. So it's important to be intimately aware of the terms of service for any game you want to do that with.

tbf I have just read this chat and I don't see how doing this gives an advantage, I cant find anything specifying this in their tos I only skimmed it and I don't see the nature of the script to be harmful if all it does is make joining servers less difficult as I used to play ark and most servers where capped.

well, it can be DoS attack on 2 perspective:

1. Spam request to server
2. Force cap all server so no one can play
   it can be cheating/gaining unfair advantage on 1 perspective:
3. Joining early than others using outside normal ability
   other perspective:
   Generic:Automated action/Botting without official API (Usually disallowed by most ToS)
