i want to make a program that can suggest a word to the user based on the sentence given. Like, the user gives a sentence and there is a word bank stored in my program. My program should suggest one of the words(if possible) that fit into the sentence and enhances it. How would I do this? Would I require AI or are there other libraries?

Yes AI is best suited here. Some kind of LSTM, look up NLP next word prediction.

the most simplest way to achieve that is probably a markov chain. It's not really AI though, and the results are usually not great.
