where is the requests documentation regarding field metadata? trying to understand how you got to this "json" key

Huh, I've never seen field metadata used before in dataclasses. Where did you find info that this has an effect?

(and yeah, I'd use pydantic for that. If you really don't want to do so, perhaps rename the keys manually before unpacking them?)

you can probably do something like that fairly simple with a classmethod
