this is what im looking for and it happens only when i type input and print in separate lines

So the string you're putting inside of input(string) is what's being printed to the console

Add whatever you want after your text

I usually go with a semi-colon

#

input("Apple or orange: ")

#

if you want a new line

#

input("Apple or orange\n")
