🔒 trying to figure out what to use for machine learning/ai classification

what im trying to do is create a machine learning algorithm based on training data (example, data that says this photo is a dog and that a different photo is not a dog). just trying to figure out what libraries to use and any tutorials available for this.

any recommendations on how to get started would be appreciated, just trying to figure out what to use to get started 👍

I'd strongly recommend following a course on that rather than just messing around with the libraries, but if you want to throw it on Google anyway: scikit-learn (sklearn) statsmodels pytorch tensorflow fastai keras
first two are for more classical things
middle two are for deep learning (which you would use for things like cat vs dog)
last two are high level APIs for the middle two

if you decide to nope out on the more complex things but still want to try to get some things done, you can try looking around HuggingFace and using their libraries which are about as high level (simplified) as it gets
