Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
this should help you https://stackoverflow.com/questions/714063/importing-modules-from-parent-folder
just look what fits you best
import package.db as db it seems.
I get the error "no module named package" when using this
the sys solutions did not work, I cannot add new files, and the project is already intended to run in an venv which would make the venv solution impossible, any other solutions?
import sys
import pathlib
current_file_path = pathlib.Path(__file__).resolve()
package_root_path = current_file_path.parent.parent.parent
sys.path.append(str(package_root_path))
print(sys.path)
from package.db import db
That works, thank you so much!
