i should jump n die
We talking about this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kepler's_laws_of_planetary_motion, @midnight dagger?
If you jump enough, you’ll get tired. You’ll realize that jumping makes you jump higher.
youll see everything and learn nothing :3
after that, ok i see enough
I... what?
lol
Ah, gotcha.
i have my notes
I mean you learn more as you are around, ask questions, clarification, etc.
k
bump
What's got you stuck on it?
And I don't know how helpful I can be on it but worth trying
What were you asking about Kepler's law then?
i understand the recursive splitting, but it's kinda odd on how it's stored
that was kinda vague
finally @proper ridge found his @sly pond
who is as smart as he is
lemme see if i can get a specific question
i just wanted someone to explain it to me
Chris did you mute me?
Can you hear us?
@sly pond Ctrl + R
Any of us?
like here, what does the j represent? the k-i + 1 is the size of the partition, but what's the point of a specification of a j?
??
it's not python in particular but it's close enough i think lol
Hmm, yeah this is a bit beyond me, unfortunately. #algos-and-data-structs will be able to explain it way better than I can
Sorry
no worries

One of the better was getting a chance to chat and chill with the creator of the requests library. Worse ones are probably just the various racial slurs and screaming people

@proper ridge how long have you been working on this project?
Few months I think
@midnight dagger I'm always happy to help give sanity checks
@proper ridge other than experience and knowledge, is there any financial benefit that your project will bring to u?
It's one out of three SDKs in my stack for my startup, so yeah, hopefully.
I never really did it for money though, I should, but I just can't get into that mindset.
@proper ridge do u know who else is making similar to your project?
they could help…
I don't need help.

We answered earlier. Some jobs will want you to do that for interviews, some won't
It's not a bad idea to do some of them only because they're commonly used during the hiring process.
But I'd focus on your coding skills in general, making sure your fundamentals are solid, etc.

Not at all, so the decorator ensures the parameters are valid, and by using the decorator, you don't copy-paste the same checks inside all of your methods.

#voice-verification First instruction.
You wouldn't think it was so ludicrous if you were around beforehand.
Screaming. Blowing into the microphone. Loud music. Racial slurs. It was a regular barrage.
Every time I had my ears screamed into, it rattled me.
The voice gating was implemented and it very mostly all stopped.
The voice gate is a negative because it is a barrier to participation of those who would use the voice chats in a reasonable way.
It is a negative that eliminates a far greater negative.
It works because the shitty people who do that sort of thing balk at having to invest conversationally, at being patient and at not being an arsehole.

what is love?
if you mean foccussed attention , well then that is not love
its obsession
love is freedom !
dedication is not really love, it is just a part
i disagree, although dedication comes from love, you cant have love without dedication
what is something you can be dedicated to that you dont love some aspect of?
people work themselves to death because they are dedicated to taking care of their family
people/animals will dedicate their own life to protecting their offspring
dedication is willful effort of a conscious soul, but love transcends rationality
could just say its a chemical for survival, but it feels more than that
you can be dedicated to do something irrational because youre in love
i am dedicated to my job , it keeps me up most of the night , but definetly it is not love
greeks were the most romantic people in the history , they categorised love into four broad categories
the love is what you have for everything else in your life, whether it be the things outside of work or the fufillment you get from dedicating to your job
can you love without any dedication?
love has dedication , it is just a part of the whole thing
i dont believe there is dedication without some form of love
love could be there even when you stopped showing it
I love being able to eat and pay rent, therefore I'm dedicated to working?
but to be dedicated i think is to love something out of what youre doing
youre dedicated to providing in some way, yes
my father couldve said the same thing, but he had a family
bro couldve said "i dont want to work anymore" but then he would be neglecting those that he loves

Selenium requires a driver to interface with the chosen browser. Firefox, for example, requires geckodriver, which needs to be installed before the below examples can be run. Make sure it’s in your PATH, e. g., place it in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin.
what does this means?
lambda is better for the sake of shortcutting
You'll need to download one of these drivers. They're files that Selenium uses to interact with the browser

keeping that aside, experimenting with different kinds of OS with full control of customization and hardware allocation is a great feeling in itself, which macbook won't let you do

if you going to college, it's better to go with windows ones first, better to experiment and learn things

@knotty stag 👋
hey @stuck bluff
I dont have the permissio to talk 🤦🏻♂️
pffff need to send at least 50 message lol
Yeah, it sucks, but...
The alternative is the screaming.
The mic blowers.
The slurs.
Etc etc.
yeah yeah.. been dealing with those a lot
but 50 message won't keep them away lol
well, not all of them
It isn't the only requirement, but you know what...it kind of does.
Because they want to get their jollies quickly. They don't really go in for delayed gratification.
agree, wants it to be ruined no matter what lol
Like, yeah, very infrequently, but I could count on one hand in the few years the gate has been a thing
Whereas prior to the gate, every fifteen minutes.
yepp ! good gate keeping
I can give you that
@ebon haven 👋

self.gender = gender
def user_details(self):
print ('"Personal Details"')

print (f"Name: {self.name}")
print (f"Age: {self.age}")
print (f"Gender: {self.gender}")
def deposit(self, amount):
self.balance += amount
print (f"Account balance has been updated: ${self.balance}")
def withdraw(self, amount):
if amount > self.balance:
print (f"Insufficient Funds | Balance Available: ${self.balance}")
else:
self.balance -= amount
print (f"Account balance has been updated: ${self.balance}")
def view_balance(self):
print (f"Balance: ${self.balance}")
account = Account(0,"Touqeer", 16, "Male")
account.user_details()
account.deposit(100)
account.withdraw(200)
account.withdraw(80)
account.view_balance()```
this is what I did.
oh
yes
It returns the value
you can suggest me a project?

@quartz obsidian 👋
@stable matrix 👋
afk
I don't know much English, could you please write to me when you say something @stable matrix
I, myself, am Australian.
From the land of the kangaroo.
I went outside earlier. It was early evening. There was a thump thump thump, because we get kangaroos here.
I know it's a beautiful country
I'm also a turkueswnim.
Say more.
Do you know Ataturk?
Not personally.
Atatürk is one of the founders of this country. Commander, so if you research your past on the Internet, you can understand how big a person you are 🙂
I don't need the internet to do that. I have tape measures at home.
I'm not as tall as I once was, but not by much. Enough to annoy me.
I don't understand, sorry
I know roughly exactly how big I am.
I don't need the internet for that.
We have mirrors.
Are you thinking of coming to Turkey?
I'm not a big traveller.
If God permits, I want to travel around the countries.
Oo okey
@stable wolf 👋
hi
I am currently studying at high school and I want to develop an application in my own way.
Hi, Are you Turkish
So are you a woman
Good Good
Don't get me wrong, nur is a female name in Turkey, so I was wondering
Which applications can be useful for me
I'll sometimes get people referring to me as a woman. I tend to not correct them because it's funnier.
Especially in voice chat and they hear me for the first time.
Okay, okay, can I teach you a word in Turkish?
What applications did you have in mind?
Python
Yes yes. Using Python for what?
And not that, but how to use the easiest python codes
The more tools in your toolbox, the more likely you are to have the one, single tool perfect for the job.
The fewer tools you have, the more tools you'll have to use.
wHAT?
back
The more you know, the less you'll write.
The less you know, the more you'll write.
I don't know at all
Hi @stable matrix
good what about you?
How do I learn Python easily and simply?
Good
In us, good means Good
Good = İyi
I have just started python so I dont know
which game you play?
Csgo
ok
#voice-chat-text-1 : any GitHub copilot experts here..what is your advice to use this tool and best practices?
hi
test:
stage: test
tags:
- docker
script:
- echo "Starting tests"
- echo "$PWD"
- cd *your file here*
- echo "$PWD"
- python3 -m pytest -v
lmao
looks so fake
now add "we have cacheing" and tell me it doesn't give the exact same answer
I do not think it can comprehend an image that complicated
and know what ur talking abt either
that seems nuts
and it was insta respond
it would at least load for a while lol
unless its coming out in 2030 lol
I can believe it gives relevant tips to building a db
I think if you asked it to describe every part of the image it'd probably fail though
Introducing Project Astra. We created a demo in which a tester interacts with a prototype of AI agents supported by our multimodal foundation model, Gemini.
There are two continuous takes: one with the prototype running on a Google Pixel phone and another on a prototype glasses device.
The agent takes in a constant stream of audio and video...
Interactive world light pollution map. The map uses NASA VIIRS, World Atlas 2015, Aurora prediction, observatories, clouds and SQM/SQC overlay contributed by users.

This one's a vertical panorama stitched with a couple of long exposures
davis out here tryna expose u 😂
have u tried any smaller stuff
it gets hella annoying w like all the tracking stuff u have to use
No way, image of the same galaxy from the same planet looks kind of similar
expensive
Nah, I don't have any tracking equipment and never tried
you have a telescope?
Nope I don't
pr lit to look at the moon
not tooo much else u can really see tbh lmao
the planets look pr crazy
everything is black and white bc there is not enough light for ur eyes tho
not quite as insane as the pictures lol
