With stuff like React Native, you can more or less write mobile apps.

Discord uses a lot of JS as it runs on Electron, so you can write desktop applications

Basically the webstack has found its way into every corner of software development

so yeah, you can do a ton of stuff with it. Although many will say that you shouldn't do those things with it, and they might be right, but I don't really have a horse in that race.
