If you somehow believe that any Arch derived distribution will offer any somewhat better experience than Arch itself, I don't know what to tell you. I could go on and on about the downsides of using an Arch derived distribution but ultimately, it is your choice. There's no world in which anything derived from Arch would be better than Arch. You can argue the whole installation process is a pain, but that's literally most of what makes Arch Arch. If you're looking for "light" in any regard, Arch will not make any positive impact (except of course manual installation with different software). If "vanilla" Arch "isn't enough", none of the derivatives will be

Ahem, it's a bit late, so I won't ping, but i couldn't resist. You can get a perfectly fine arch experience from derivatives. Sure, manjaro may not be the best, but there are other deritives such as archcraft, which is lightweight and usable right out of the box, with complete access to everything arch provides, such as the AUR. I really don't see how that's any worse than arch itself, besides the fact that it's a relatively young flavor.
