@timber apex Short answer, coming from someone who's a fan of the language, it's pretty awesome. Long answer, it depends whether you're interested enough in it. It has quite the difficulty curve and that throws off quite a lot of people.

a cog is a discord.py thing. It is classed based commands.
it would allow you to add your commands to a class, then you could reference self to get those variables that are shared between scrips
and you do not need to set a var = myClass()
you can reference count directly from the class
i.e myClass.count
