(it was years ago, but I spent like 2h debugging it π€¦ - at some point I must've copied the files into a folder, probably by dragging files onto a folder vs just next to a folder in filezilla... then i must've entered that sub-folder for some reason - and seeing all the files made me think I was in correct place, instead of the accidentally nested copy)

I think it was my first web project at work. We didn't even dockerize it then (hence direct upload to server for testing with another junior coworker), we experimented with dockerizing it later (and that coworker hardcoded ip for api inside their frontend files, lol)
Meanwhile much later: multi-stage dockerfile, Makefile with command that pulled version from a file and used that to tag the image, and a command that exported the image into nicely named archive (we had to deploy those images we made in the client infra, directly, as the machines didn't have access to the outside world to use image repo)
So yeah, I learned my lesson on complicated commands and user error π

(applications normally had a checkbox for that) Pretty sure currently there's too many skilled people in other EU countries that don't require an HSM visa to move to NL and work, so if someone applies to job with same skills as me, but does not require visa sponsorship, they're just a much easier option for a company to go for

We both went our separate ways after a year of living together. He went back to living with his parents who clean up after him
On the other hand, me and my gf come from different cultures. When I've visited in 2 month intervals, we've not had any issues. Had to clarify something one or two times when it was vague on who's doing what, or if someone did something the other disliked, but that's it. It's always been easy even with different cultures

Is there any other reasonable explanation you could put forward as to why I was rejected for every single role when I was ticking the box for requiring sponsorship, vs now where I have reached at least a first interview 4/13 times? So about 30% of applications lead to a first interview currently.
Yes, very small sample size currently, started slow to not burn myself out like last time with rejection after rejection, also writing a personalized cover letter for everything, but since I'm actually getting interviews, I can probably speed up a bit. Also stopped applying mid last week since I'm flying over this week and had a bunch of other stuff I had to finalize, so I wouldn't have had much time for an interview
