You can't just add email addresses to the list, Outlook only lets me select from my users.
I can create a "contact" with an external email, and it works fine, but the contact creation is in the admin portal.

@molten pewter I'm wrong in my understanding of how transfers work in the UK - for the most part they are actually instant, the CHAPS/Faster-Payments systems which is the "fast" method is actually instant. I was getting it mixed up with a service which plenty of providers offer wherein they'll pretend a BACS transfer has already cleared and make that BACS transfer instant

@quasi condor My job is pretty good. I work in a python 'support' role where I am making tools for data scientists which means the tools don't need to be tested, they are quickly thrown away, and barely have to work .

Which is perfect because I excel at these things

What makes life super easy is that my manager is super hands off and views his team as support roles which means as long as we meet our obligations, it's really hands off.
