Reds are linear, which means as you push them down there's no way to tell where the actuation point is, or there's no bump that tells you. Makes it decent for gaming, as it lets you feather the key and more quickly tap it
Browns are tactile, which means you feel a bit of a bump or resistance when you reach the actuation point. Good for general purpose, as it lets you know when you've actually pressed the key.
Blues are tactile and clicky. These have an additional part in them, a sort of plastic sleeve, that snaps down when you hit the actuation point. This makes them have a satisfying (but for some irritating) clicky noise with each key press. It also gives a little resistance or bump much like the browns.
