i need to go through a CSV and find where certain criteria are true in a specific column and get the number of the lines where those things are true
So the problem I'm having is that I just don't know how to get the line numbers, I wrote some code to make a new db where only the marketcap (column I need) is there but just need to pull out the number
0 5.166360e+10
1 2.984995e+10
2 2.803254e+10
3 2.826733e+10
4 1.689591e+10
So for example this is an excerpt of the csv file and for example, if I wanted to only get numbers that were over 5.16e+10 how would I do that and get row 0 in this case
the criteria is that the number that the row numbers that I need to have need to be where the number in the market cap column is over 100 billion
wow it is so annoying typing all of this out
no no that was just an example I used, I need every row number where the number is over 100 billion
the csv is just so big that I only included this small sample
