import tweepy
secrets = json.loads(open(base_dir + '/secrets.json').read())
consumer_key = secrets['api_key']
consumer_secret = secrets['api_secret_key']
access_token = secrets['access_token']
access_token_secret = secrets['access_token_secret']
auth = tweepy.OAuthHandler(consumer_key, consumer_secret)
auth.set_access_token(access_token, access_token_secret)
this is my code. is this right?
Yeah, right.
Actually, I tried with this.
But I seems to have any wrong.
Did you check the "request email" box when you got your token?
I set wrong callback urls, because I can not make sense what this mean, and I have not that.
good, what happens when you GET account/verify_credentials ? https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-api/v1/accounts-and-users/manage-account-settings/api-reference/get-account-verify_credentials
api = tweepy.API(auth)
user = api.verify_credentials(include_entities=False, skip_status=False, include_email=True)```
I wrote my code like this. and got above result.
but it doesn't include email address.
Actually this is my account.
I don't know how to get verify_credentials of another user.

@hallow warren is this YOU?
@whole bear yes
Yeah, I see.
Can I give you feedback?
@hallow warren If possible, please help me little more....
@hallow warren Thanks for your effort so far.
If possible, Could you tell me more?
@whole bear https://explainshell.com/ is your answer
match command-line arguments to their help text
@whole bear have you been able to have any twitter users log in with their twitter accounts yet?
Sure, I can login as my acc.
as you can see from my code, I tried with my acc.
@hallow warren

@whole bear can you please put your tweepy code in a http://repl.it/languages/python3 so I can look at it?
@hallow warren yeah, I will put soon.
Profanity is a spice. Best used in moderation and paired with an appropriately matching meal.
@hallow warren I wrote
url pls
@hallow warren https://repl.it/@AndmelJo/WellwornLavishMicrobsd#main.py
@hallow warren can you see my result?
@whole bear looking....
I don't see why it would be. You'd have to look it up to be sure.
@whole bear you accidentally put your private credentials in that, sorry. Please delete that repl.... I will make a new one for you....
@hallow warren Yeah, I know it is private info.
but I had to run my script.
can you change my code on there?
@whole bear access_token_secret is something that could get you banned if someone else learned and abused it, and that script isn't a web service. Let me get you a flask starter repl
@whole bear just put the code without the credentials and after its fixed by someone copy the code and test it locally with the credentials
@whole bear can you edit https://repl.it/join/ttmyhvyq-jsalsman ?
Repl.it is a simple yet powerful online IDE, Editor, Compiler, Interpreter, and REPL. @whole bear Yep, I can edit.
kewl
I think it's clever.
What's this?
Worley noise is a noise function introduced by Steven Worley in 1996. In computer graphics it is used to create procedural textures, i.e. textures that are created automatically with arbitrary precision and do not have to be drawn by hand. Worley noise comes close to simulating textures of stone, water, or biological cells.
hey
this is really more of a python server tbh
I can't even run batch files on my Linux machine

Zero recorded cases.
Good point
yeah
hay some one knows discord.py here?
and certainly not zero ongoing infections
But likelihood of getting sick is lower than in late February basically
As long as you keep good hygiene that's almost no chance, like driving a car (even safer probably)
But I respect those who care about staying inside
Thats sensible
Once everywhere's sewerage tests are negative for a month and there have been no known ongoing cases for a month and the borders remain under strict quarantine procedures without exception, diplomatic or otherwise, and there's an effective, proven vaccine that has been meaningfully distributed, to myself included...then I'll start to relax a little.

Well, I'm in a position where if I get it, I'm dead.
Do you have a condition, cause then it's something you should be wary of...
I do.
Like anything respiratory, ah ok then I understand you fully.
and I'm fucked at least two different ways if I do get it because of that
Ok I completely agree that you should stay inside then
I have both an inflammatory condition and I have immune modifying medications.
Also, am male and have a bad blood type for it.

I mean what I say
@past elk command prompt
whats this
.
Worley noise with postprocessing.
@vital mantle i'm noy gonna make a pattern again
yep, the infamous pattern
Music: Noisia - Seven Stitches
300 by 300 by 300 points
yeah
and importing it with the correct name ?
pip install pygame
@olive echo check if u have pygame installed in PATH
ok
with Pool(processes=10) as p:
p.map(pixel,points_quards)```
multiprocessing.cpu_count()
imagine fast a laptop would be with 10 processors
@tranquil barn check dms
@sick cloud It would be dependant on how powerful each one was.
The thing about parallelism is that if you have 8 very weak processors, a single, heavy calculation is going to run as fast as it would go on one of those processors.
Unless you break it up
and not every problem lends itself to being broken up
Yeah, you've gotta optimize for hardware
did your problem get solved?
However, say you have 8 calculations to do that are very small. It's going to take as much time as it would take one processor to complete one of those calculations.
@olive echo You a beginner?
So it's like having a single small processor and a single small calculation in terms of the time it takes to run.
ye
You've gotta set the PATH var
They go over it in the installation docs
Or you won't be able to access it from cmd
umm did your pygame issue get solved @olive echo ?
By name
working on it
Idk if you can bruv
use 3.8.x
o mo
@olive echo get python version 3.8 or 3.7
ok
Basically, I want to add pause and resume to an OpenCV while loop
3.7 versions supports almost all the modules @olive echo
i would recommend you to get 3.7.8
np
But when I set paused to True, then the OpenCV loop basically becomes a
while True:
pass
and blocks my whole program
So, I can't ever toggle it back to false
ye
So, put the resume endpoint in the else?
uhhhhhhhhhhhhh can someone help?
I tried it, but it wasn't working. I have to add a huge delay to initialize the endpoint
Because it'll just continue in the loop
umm yeah?
It already is in the global scope
what do I do to download it?
scroll down there should be options on whether which file to download
i don't think u can screen share
this?
Let me get my mic
no you cant
kk
i do wonder what a web based installer does
visualize
By the way guys quick reminder if you can't find your python versions executable file you can just do: where python in the CMD
i found this maybe this is it?
wdym @olive echo
oh ok
@olive echo that wasn't for you btw
the visualization thing
please stop
I can't talk, sad
3.7 versions are really good as well
@olive echo make sure you change your python Interpretter in PyCharm
alr nice
now just change your pycharm interpretter
locate your python 3.7.8 .exe file
@olive echo what editor or ide are you using?
yea Visual Studio Code
The purple one is called Visual Studio
yep that one
why would you install vs code in choco?
that's honestly just more complicated for yourself
yeah
anyways he's a beginner let him learn the simple way
@tranquil barn anaconda is mainly for ML
yeah
vs code support over 50 langs
can you send a screen shot @olive echo
yeah agreed
Vs code vim emulator is not that good
I am on laptop soooooooooo...
mhm
nvm I got what he means
@olive echo i'll tell you which extensions for vs code are essential for python
kk
I launched it
Linux don't have installation interface like that
nice
alright
im making a milk bomb
umm probably open a project first?
ok
no just locate a folder @olive echo
don't you have anything for python in your laptop?
Pycharm is heavy
Hi guys im new here
i neerly just deleted everything on my desktop
I learnet the bescis up until if and for loops

@odd dragon gj
yes click on that
@olive echo yes you need to install that
the python extension is the main thing
this one?
Can someone check this out and tell me if its any good and how to simplify and how to make it a bit better

Hey there
Hoy hi.
How you doing?
I am doing.
@zinc viper Hmmm?
I don't plan on being condescending...
Though my schedule is free.
I could probably squeeze in a few minutes.
As for talking, I can, but I'd prefer to not where I am right at the moment.
I'd have to see the rest of your code.
Jeez...
There is a policy about using words in a derrogatory fashion.
But please.
Continue.
I'd need to see the rest of your code.
I don't have enough information.
If you're calling something, returning will generally result in the call of that function being effectively replaced with the object you're returning, yes.
But maybe you're not actually returning
Maybe it's tucked away in a conditional that isn't being satisfied
So it reaches the end of the function without hitting return
and it ends the function and returns None
This voice chat is populated by an age range. Not everyone comes in here all the time.
Because I enjoy Python.
@zinc viper I'll thank you to not put words into my mouth.
@night tiger you answered my question through text...
yo whats going on here?
k
@elder fiber A refined display picture.
Hoy hi.
I'm where I'd prefer to not talk.
Yes.
I'm sorry, if you could just hold on for a tic.
I'm having two conversations.
@elder fiber This is the #voice-chat-text-0 text channel. An adjunct to the voice chat, itself.
If I'm in here, this is where I would prefer conversation with myself take place, textwise.
@tranquil barn Yeah, pillow's an easy enough library to pick up.
As for the mathematics...
You're aware how most images...depending on the colourspace, are made up of three or four bytes per pixel. Milage varies, depending on the format.
Some are palettes and don't conform
Each of those bytes is going to be, usually, from values of 0 to 255.
So 255,0,0 is often red.
0,0,0 is black.
RGB. Yeah.,
Then there's a fourth, alpha.
Opacity.
When you're working with that, you want to have a solid hold on something called alpha compositing.
If you're not just using a library to do it
So if I place one pixel on top of another
It's like layers of glass
Of varying opacities
and that compositing process is a mathematical equation
The idea is for when you're working with layers.
Normalisation functions are also something I use a fair bit
Convolution matrices aren't really something I've done a whole lot with
They have applications in image processing, yes.
Blurs, a lot of the time.
I think.
Thinking.
Yes. I am thinking.
But it's something to get you going.
If nothing else.
π
haha, why you not speaking opal
Because I'm somewhere I don't want to be talking.
hmm.. kk
Lest I disturb other people in my household.
It is the middle of the night.
Hoy Dhruv.
Just hanging around.
Waiting for the gang to show up.
Fiddling with my python generated art stuff. π
Well, yes.
There's precious little else for me to do at the moment.
This particular noise pattern, yes.
Worley noise.
But I think I might have put him onto python art stuff in general, first.
this generated art stuff reminds me of GANS
I remember the hard times while making one
I've played around with hypergan. Once.
never heard of it
gans are the same thing
But if you encode text into it, it can process the patterns
they are neural nets which learn from a dataset
Because I'm somewhere I don't want to talk, lest I disturb the others in my household.
Hey hi. Good to see you here. π

@small sedge o/
??
You said hi. That was a greeting in return.
It's supposed to be a head and a waving arm.
@somber heath where's everyone, the voice chat is filled by now ?
We don't endorse American holidays here
I think that people should take what precious little joy they can, this year, within reasonable boundaries.
Reasonable boundaries including not being plague rats, for instance.
Hoy hi.
You know my answer to that.
Yees. I know.
"How are you?" "Good". "What's up?" "Oh, you know...this and that."
It's the same conversation.
For every person you meet.
and I am so commonly not okay, so I'm supposed to lie and say I'm okay when I'm not?
Or the questioner has some right to know how I am?
I might not want to talk about that.
and if I say "Oh, not great."
"Oh, no, what's wrong?"
As above. I don't want to talk about it.
I don't want to have to flop out my emotional traumas for every conversation.
Smile and nod.
Some questions can be easily ignored and people don't even notice.
They ask. They don't recognise that they haven't been answered.
That's how important such an intrusive question is to them? Fuck that.
Now, if it's a friend...that's different.
I know they're asking because they actually care.
I still might dodge the question, but it does put it in a slightly different category.
Fillory.
A direction.
A word.
A movie.
Skyward.
Let's see...
Yes, I am a bit of a busy bee, sometimes.

What is the specific issue you're having right at the moment?
Sample Input:
3
9 5 1
8 2 6
4 7 3
Sample Output: (After Sorting)
1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
i should get that
#Problem3 part a
def flaten_and_sort_mat(mat):
flattened = [val for sublist in mat for val in sublist]
flattened.sort()
i = 0
for r, row in enumerate(mat):
for c in range(len(row)):
mat[r][c] = flattened[i]
i += 1
matrix = [[3],[9, 5, 1], [8, 2, 6], [4, 7, 3]]
flaten_and_sort_mat(matrix)
for r in matrix:
for e in r:
print(f"{e:>3}", end="")
print()
No = "No"
if hallo == No
Print("Nice")
else
Print("Not nice")
So...you want to trim out any elements in your list that don't have three indices?
hallo = "Hallo32"
No = "No"
if hallo == No:
Print("Nice")
else
Print("Not nice")
:
No = "No"
if hallo == No:
Print("Nice")
else:
Print("Not nice")
So...you want to be able to determine where, given the matrix input entire, there is a 3x3 grid?
and only count that?
So what are we trying to do here?
How do you determine what is in the matrix?
What are the qualifications?
What are the disqualifications?

Just because a matrix has rules, doesn't mean you can't break code.
Lists can have all sorts of combinations, as you know.
lists and matrix are not same
Unless you're working with a specific class that raises an exception when you try to feed it illegal data, you've got to account for evil user input.
even in python I believe
The matrix variable is a list of lists.
matrix = [[9, 5, 1], [8, 2, 6], [4, 7, 3]]
CODE BATTLE
because they might not be introduced to them, just to make things simple I suppose
@inner dragon Are you using numpy at all in this project?
I mean, sure, you can call it a matrix, but calling it something else doesn't make it not a list of lists, as written.
