@frigid shard
print('Im' + str("20")+'years old.')
or do this
print('Im' , 20 , 'years old.')
print('Im' , 20 , 'years old.', end = '')
yes
because you cannot add string and integer directly
when you convert integer to string you are doing explicit type conversion
when you add string you are concatinating
and making them a single string
and when you seperate values by commas you are just printing values one after another
using (, end = '') makes them print in one line
Im

anoconda includes all the extra llibraries and modules
which you have to install from pip before using them if you are using normal py
yes from pip
no installation required in anaconda it includes by default

yes yes
it depends on the update of package and when they are actually made public so if they are not that popular
Actually I don't work with anocanda so cannot tell exactly
by prompt do you mean console?
idle?
okay
yeah its a console
it is required because if you install just python then you get a by default console called IDLE. and you are missing it in anaconda

if you plan on traveling, get Global Entry
best 100 bucks ever
Work pays for pre-check =3c
oooh, yeah. That's worth checking out
or they will give you 85 bucks and it costs you 15 bucks
only downside to Global entry is EVERYONE must have global entry in your party
so your partner will need it if they are traveling internationally if they want to use Global Entry with you
or you can leave them and they can get home 30 minutes after you
partner works at the same place I do, so if I can get it so can he
yea, push for Global Entry, it comes with Pre Check
plus expedited Customs/Immigration
Wait for like flights?
Yes
Huh
I've actually seen it a couple times where that line was longer and slower than the standard
That's because they opt people into Precheck who shouldn't be there
and I prefer it even if it's longer because it doesn't involve undressing and unloading my electronic bag
in precheck?
mhm
I've put my electronic bag through with Personal Laptop/Business Laptop/iPad/phone/watch/wallet and not a word

So, what does the simulation tell you?
Is this the sort of thing that's normally done in like Verilog?
Ah right. Maybe fill your code with assert statements.
assert x throws an error if not x
Erm, pretty much
It just makes the code stop nearer to where the data became invalid.
Which makes it easier to track down bugs.
If you write code for NASA, you have to have like one assert for every two lines of code 😄
Or some other arbitrary ratio.

@plucky dome I like kivy.

the kivy framework is very complex what is the best way to use tkinter?
I received an order from the mayor's office of the city and wanted to make apps on the play market
@rugged root
If you want to make mobile apps, you're probably better off with Kotlin or Dart
Android apps in Python are very heavy

Then tkinter wouldn't work. You would have to use either Kivy or BeeWare. Ideally, you'd want to use either Java or Kotlin

Can an algorithm evaluate a work of art as a human would? It'd have to be neural and evolving.
I don't think so - algorithms are good at a lot of things, but once you're asking them to look at something as a piece of art, they kind of fall apart. There is some very interesting stuff with style transfer, and using AI to generate art though - and I 100% believe AI can generate art which has some value.
But just in case that comment was related to my idea, I don't think git commit messages are art. I think there is a relatively identifiable set of characteristics that makes for a good commit message.

I only muted your microphone. Unfortunately, because you don't speak English and this is an English only server, it's just kind of how it has to go
yes
scrump
to steal apples
oh, right
yeah i wasn't paying attention
to scrump.
scrumping fer apples
or scrumping for car stereos
scrumping class requirements
rofl
poopoo
maybe he's reverse psychologying you
maybe it's somewhere low
sounds like fullscreen windowless
yeah, i used to have similar problems with Ultramon
back in like fucking 2001
System Shock 2 did that for me on Steam
and it was hot garbage having paid for it
and not being able to play it
there's a cool development in people seeking out and buying the rights to make or republish old games
system shock is a perfect example
they went out of their way to find the rights holders and try to get the original source code etc
so they could recreate it for modern systems
probably a command prompt related thing?
DX7 was pretty dope for the time though
cube maps
no you've got to push it
push it real good
that's what you get when you try to fuck a fax machine
that's how you know you're doing a good job
yeah, that was weird.
i started watching that AJIN anime on Netflix
seems alright
yes.
definitely stuff to keep away from your junk
food grade iron filings
water is magnetic
it's direly magnetic
laminar flow and static charge
they are two different effects
we don't use that word like that btw @hushed elm
i did a shit origami swan
you can see where the hope goes
swans are 90% lighting
yeah, games with no lighting tend to not go down well
although amnesia did okay
they didn't even admit to it after release right?
"oh the universe is just so big you'll never bump into anyone."
then two people met at matching coordinates
and couldn't see each other
plus there could be server side information culling
so you'd still have to be within X of another person to receive network data
at that point you might as well both go hump the same rock
rock: 80% less lightning than fax machines
chalk?
yes. yes it is.
i was just about to bring up gymnasts and their chalk use but thought i better not.
fax is still useful
to catch it kill it bin it
you need to get in the bin now charlie
walk around with a bin on your arm?
like some kind of bin man?
!paste

After pasting your code, save it by clicking the floppy disk icon in the top right, or by typing ctrl + S. After doing that, the URL should change. Copy the URL and post it here so others can see it.

"we choose not to use vim because it is easy, but because it is hard."
also i didnt know how to open a file in vim :), maybe the main reason
a, b = [int(i) for i in input().split()]
ok thx
who said that
. i thought it useful in programming
Vim is a comfortable editor in the terminal
Relatively comfortable at least, it differs on the individual level @latent moss
ooh
sounds like wordpress :D
also, vim is a name of a washing powder company here, so its too weird for me to use it lel

flask project?
is there any free vps server available ?
my small personal website I'm building in flask
nginx as a reverse proxy and deploy your flask site through docker?
rather than running it native
that's my plan!
wtf was that
oh nice.
I just logged into my VPS for the first time so I'm just trying to get it all set up
oh
@honest pier it still gives me an error when I put the input any idea why?def main():
a, b = [int(i) for i in input().split()]
print((m*n)/2)
i thought opal tried to kill an animal
def main():
a, b = [int(i) for i in input().split()]
print((m*n)/2)
does neovim has some thing good ?
@latent moss I would prefer to avoid killing things.
does neovim has some thing good ?
@bronze silo Smaller code-base and asynchronous processing
nvm
It's just a fork of Vim either way
my parents will probably kill me if they hear me saying something
int main()
{
int n, m;
cin >> m >> n;
cout << (mn) / 2;
return 0;
}
is that chunk of code in c++ equivalent to this in python?
def main():
a, b = [int(i) for i in input().split()]
print((mn)/2)
it's a party
boom bam boo boom
my parents will probably kill me if they hear me saying something
@latent moss thats a step forward then the word strict what would be that
