I teach them how to program the robots autonomously using softwares like pedro pathing

and they use sensors on their robots

called odometry pods

they work like dead wheels

when the robot moves

the odometry pods measure how much they move and use that to know where they are on the feild

kind of like a GPS tracking system

but uses dead wheels instead of satelite signals

then I teach them how to use different types of paths like linear or tangential

then they learn how to the the API

distance, color, light, sensors

and cameras

that scan tags

they get metadata from the tags

they are called april tags

like these

it returns values like the distance the tag is from the robot

and other stuff

they use that to help locate the robot

they use the sensors+camera+odometry for robot localization

@proper grove I'll tell you something that SOUNDS ridiculous, but works surprisingly well: I found out that summarizing functions in natural language + converting all the lines into a hash is SUPRISINGLY effective into detecting semantic duplicates (semantic = actual duplicates. I.e, functions that have different structures, but do the same thing)
