I just did my first bit of programming with OOP

I found it very difficult

What's been a project you've guys used where it was like, "Oh yeah now I see why OOP is useful"

It's a different way of thinking, to be sure, however, once you use it more it starts to make a lot of sense and it's not difficult to think about at that point.

It would have been a long time ago. I just remember thinking classes were kind of silly when I could pass state around as function arguments. Once I got over the learning hump I was like, "Oh, cool. I get it."

So, sudden...ish, but incremental.

It wasn't too long after I had wrapped my head around the concept of indentation.

Once I got into it, I was trying to write classes to do everything. Then I calmed down.

Sometimes a class is the right approach, some things just structurally should be something else.
