hey
Having 100 names for snow comes along with being stuck in it for so long you have nothing else to do but come up with 100 names for snow.

Here's guide:
Learn from trusted source like
- automate boring stuff with python (book)
- Python tutorial by telusko (Youtuber)
- Official Python docs for beginner.
How to implement python?
- Learn about the application of python
- Search the resource online.
- Use kaggle and anaconda if you are new to ML and DS
- Learn about the python alternative and compare the alternative
How to earn from python?
- Go for trusted intership
- Show case your work on twitter , insta github , etc to gain customer or helper
- Go for high demand low competition sub field..
Which IDE to use ?
Pycharm , Spyder, VS code, etc.
Go for the one that you like most!
Never use GPT online as it's not recommended for corporate work due to confidentiality.
Use local GPT, how to set up one?
Network Chuck (Youtube)
I hope your request isn't a troll!
If it is f you!
using GPT locally would be so hard for coding
you should try a more modern approach
Maybe, but I prefer using GPT locally
... how?
Am I allowed to share link?
By how you mean how i use it?
I don't think they released any local GPT's since GPT2
Tbh i use perplexity over GPT online.
So it doesn't matter to me.
As my confidential work are done on private GPT.
If GPT2 works for you thats good
just know there are other models with a higher perplexity as you say
i suppose so, but if you measure per quality it can be linear
For now I use laptop.
Incase if I had desktop, I would like to use them!
Thanks u very much Dude!!

Is it bad to use my boot drive to store other stuff other than "boot" stuff?
Ye
Not like there'd be a performance hit due to it
But yeah, storage total would be the issue there
If you can't swap, it would be a hit
That's true
Or just use a cheaper SSD brand

I thought the Samsung SSDs with the cache would be better, especially for boot as comparing benchmarks, they absolutely wipe the floor compared to something like Crucial or Kingston SSDs.
Well, not for boot but for gaming.

It's looking similar to hurricane Charley 👀
Also I've been thinking we were in Voice Chat 1 the whole time 😄
I did that yesterday, but the opposite
Wind push water
it's going to be far worse, this is closer to katrina. especially given the bathymetry and coast shape around tampa
It causes flooding
Flood is result, storm surge is cause of said flooding
Symptom and cause
I was actually in Florida for Charley and it ended up being a lot more destructive than we anticipated.
Charley was a big deal because it was high winds hitting from the back of the buildings, which were reinforced to handle storms coming from the east.
Jimmy Buffet died 😔
Wait when did he pass?
More recent buildings are constructed to avoid that issue. That's why Ian was comparable to Charley despite being larger and slightly stronger.

Like a python package?
How do you mean define it? Like setting up a database for the tables for it or classes or what do you mean
I need to define the term so that I can use it correctly in context
@little rampart 👋
Because my team and I are trying to develop one for our use cases in AI
Are we talking about a physical library with books or do you mean something like a Python library
Ah gotcha
The terminology is loosely defined and losely adhered to.
what is this project ? what is the purpose of it ? could you explain shortly
Library could mean different things to different people.
Yy so we have ai workflows
Thats the pb
A module is usually a single file to import, a library is a group of modules
Package is a group of modules id say
I mean this is the question I want to ask
A package is a collection of modules within a library
So thinking of it in terms of a physical library...
A library is... well, the whole library. A book within the library would be a package. A page in that book would be a module
you're a module
Awww, you noticed ❤️
Better than being a nodule
better than being npm
Fair
Can I explain my point orally?

what's queer ?
Are you asking what is being referred to as queer, or what queerness is?
umm any of them, i just know gay or lesbian :>
Queer can encompass a great many things.
Anyone who is both cisgender and heterosexual is not queer, basically.
If you're trying to look up something in an SQL database for LGBTQ+ information, would you use a queery?
queery 😳
like some people put they them in their pronouns, are they queer ?
cis ? i know hetero & cis coz of chemistry but here i don't get cisgender.
Nonbinary falls under the umbrella of queer, yes.
Cisgendered is the antonym of transgendered.
Queer is an umbrella term for people who are not heterosexual or are not cisgender
Gender.
so every lgbt is queer.
and, not or
Yes.
gender = non binary ?
No. Nonbinary as in neither male or female.
then what binary would be ? 0 1 is the only thing coming in my mind.
umm tbh its all greek for me, if somebody says i am this "....." and i don't get it.....that wouldn't be offensive to them ?
im not english speaking or european. i have never met anyone who was not a men or women.
we say chinese but ig you say greek in english.
When I find myself having difficulty understanding or feeling someone's configuration, I just say to myself "It's not about me."
sounds chandlerish.

I think Groundhog day makes more sense.
Those universes will continue to exist, maybe slightly or drastically different with you gone, but still existing. As you go back, and behave slightly or drastically differently, you create new branches, which is more consistent with the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics iirc.
And FPI's interpretation of quantum mechanics.
Although, although, Harry Potter's could, perhaps, make some sense too, if you behave identically when you go back, but I guess that falls under Groundhog day.

# Overview
This project aims to create an Android overlay application using React Native that reads UPC (Universal Product Code) numbers from a specific app (e.g., Walmart Associate App) and stores them in a history database. The app will use React Native for the user interface and SQLite for local storage.
## Technologies Used
- **React Native**: A framework for building native apps using React.
- **SQLite**: A lightweight, disk-based database that doesn't require a separate server process.
- **React Navigation**: For handling navigation within the app.
- **React Native Permissions**: For managing permissions required for overlay functionality.
## Features
- **Overlay Functionality**: The app will overlay on top of the Walmart Associate App to read UPC numbers.
- **UPC Reading**: The app will capture and read UPC numbers from the Walmart Associate App.
- **History Database**: The app will store the captured UPC numbers in a local SQLite database.
- **User Interface**: A simple UI to display the history of captured UPC numbers.
## Setup and Installation
### Prerequisites
- Node.js
- React Native CLI
- Android Studio (for Android development)
### Steps
1. **Install Node.js**: Ensure Node.js is installed on your system.
2. **Install React Native CLI**:
npm install -g react-native-cli
Create a New React Native Project:
react-native init UPCHistoryApp
cd UPCHistoryApp
Install Required Packages:
npm install react-native-sqlite-storage react-native-permissions react-navigation
Link Native Modules:
react-native link

Implementation Details
1. Overlay Functionality
Permissions: Use react-native-permissions to request the necessary permissions for overlay functionality.
Overlay Logic: Implement the overlay logic in the Overlay.js component.
2. UPC Reading
UPC Logic: Implement the UPC reading logic in the UPCReader.js component.
Capture Method: Use the device's camera or other available methods to capture UPC numbers.
3. History Database
Database Management: Use react-native-sqlite-storage to manage the SQLite database.
Database Operations: Implement database operations in the database.js file.
4. User Interface
Navigation: Use react-navigation to handle navigation between screens.
UI Components: Implement the UI components in the components/ directory.
Running the App
Start the Metro Bundler:
react-native start
Run the App on Android:
react-native run-android
Conclusion
This React Native app will provide an efficient way to capture and store UPC numbers from the Walmart Associate App, leveraging the power of React Native and SQLite for a seamless user experience on Android devices.

We were attacked by horrible mosquitoes 🪰🪰 but we managed to win! Later, it rained heavily 🌧️ and we also survived. I will tell you it was worth waiting: the steak sandwich came out beautifully. It is definitely the juiciest. 🔥

Butternut Squash 5 of the best and easy ways. Tired of it being hard to peel, oddly sticky, rock hard tough and dangerous to cut through. The good, the bad and the dangerous. This one simple technique can transform the way you cook with it forever. From sweet and savory tenderloin style medallions to a WFPB no-oil spread and whips, these recipes...

butternut squash soup is amazing , mmm
https://youtu.be/H3LPmSxYNaU?si=-P-E1gRB4u2zlKux I want to make this
We’ve given a savory, seasonal twist to what I think is the best way to enjoy polenta, which is in its much more interesting, visually appealing, baked form. Besides the amazing flavor, we get to enjoy a great textural contrast between the soft, creamy center, and the crusty exterior. Enjoy!

Write a script that:
- Reads the file
problem2.txt. - Counts how many times 192.168.1.1 appears in the file.
- Prints the result. this the question
!e py print('Hello, world.')
:white_check_mark: Your 3.12 eval job has completed with return code 0.
Hello, world.
ngl I just need to go over the question
got you but
I have questions based off of it
I dont want to waste your time
cuz i got like a super time crunch
yeah imma have to that 😦
could you atleast
direct me on
what topic I need to learn for the question
because rn I have
with open('/home/labsuser/problem1.txt' , 'r') as f:
so like I have to open the file but then read it
Assignment =.
Compound statements (colons / indentation)
for loops and and how they're related to =
Iterability as a concept.
Strings 'abc etc.
Opening of files using open
Context manager with (optional)
File handles (f in your example) are iterable
The attached functionality of file handles. See the io module. It's a little complicated, but the methods of it you want to look at are .read and .readlines.
File handles are iterable.
Methods of the str class. See: str.strip and str.split.
The concept of importing other modules into your module using the import keyword.
Dictionaries. See: dict.
collections.Counter.
That's the broad strokes.
But to demonstrate a little bit.
!e py from collections import Counter fruits = 'Apple', 'Pear', 'Orange', 'Pear', 'Orange', 'Banana', 'Orange' counter = Counter(fruits) print(counter)
:white_check_mark: Your 3.12 eval job has completed with return code 0.
Counter({'Orange': 3, 'Pear': 2, 'Apple': 1, 'Banana': 1})
I understand.
I need help with something. Do you know Python?
Yes.
I have developed a mobile application using Kotlin language and I am using Tensorflow Lite in this application and I am printing it via Python to recognize a person's face with Lite. If I show it to you, can you guide me?
Not likely.
How come, I don't understand you fully, can you help me?
ok tnx bro
When I ask people for help and they do not help me, I gain more determination. I believe that I will succeed in this job. 🙂
I found this discord channel on the internet by chance. I am Turkish, but I had no idea that this was a foreign channel 🙂
I would like to help you.
I do not know how to help you.
If anyone wants to help me, my problem is, I am using tensorflow lite and I am teaching tensorflow to distinguish human faces with Python, but it is an area that I have never dealt with before, how can I improve this code, I need help on this issue, if there is anyone who can help, I would be glad if they write to me, thank you. Thank you, I'm sorry to bother you.
There is no problem in the registry, you just need to see the python codes and see if there are any errors.
I can share screen
I don't work with Tensorflow. Maybe the people at #data-science-and-ml might have a better idea.
I understand you, do you have a chance to review the python code I wrote?
I can look.
Can you write me privately? I can't share the screen here.
Even though I feel as though automated facial recognition systems are the devil.
I avoid private.

My goal is how can I learn this better?
@silk prawn 👋

There's no time like the present.
I just did my first bit of programming with OOP
I found it very difficult
What's been a project you've guys used where it was like, "Oh yeah now I see why OOP is useful"
It's a different way of thinking, to be sure, however, once you use it more it starts to make a lot of sense and it's not difficult to think about at that point.
Was it a slow experience where you understood more and more of it, or there was just a sudden ah-ha moment
It would have been a long time ago. I just remember thinking classes were kind of silly when I could pass state around as function arguments. Once I got over the learning hump I was like, "Oh, cool. I get it."
So, sudden...ish, but incremental.
It wasn't too long after I had wrapped my head around the concept of indentation.
Hello guys, I’m a beginner trying to learn
So i will be asking a lot of questions which may seem too simple
When I do so, please bare with me guys
Now indentation is as easy as breathing.
But I remember how confused I was at the beginning.
I feel the same way you felt Opal, like I find it all silly to be using classes
By any chance did you learn using Angela Yu's 100 Days of Python Coding
Once I got into it, I was trying to write classes to do everything. Then I calmed down.
Sometimes a class is the right approach, some things just structurally should be something else.
No.
Hi @thorny ridge , dw I'm new too, I don't have any right to say a question is too simple
Oh okay
Wdym structurally

@true lantern I guess we all learning then
Nice meeting you guys
You can make a house out of hammers if you are patient enough with a welder and wire, but that's not what hammers are for.
Are you making money from your experience programming ?
Python is my hobby, not my profession.
@faint ginkgo 👋
Python is built in C which is built with C which but also made from assembly.
Not to any appreciable degree
I don’t meet the requirements yet no problem
that lowkey rhymed lol
Thats a great use of someone's time lol
@faint ginkgo are you novice, beginner, intermediate, expert, master level ?
What is a free software which helps with skeletons for pixel characters?? Similar to smack studio?? And works on a raspberry pi 5

omg wait thats how it's normally....
Yeah trying to make my life easier
@opaque flint 👋
do you need the animated result to stay pixelated, or should only separate layers stay pixelated? (some games use semi-pixelated style)
"well, at least you have listening permissions"
(I'm not yet motivated to pay for a VPN to use Discord yet)
I'm looking through these to see anything related
