Frequently.

the reason i hate python is because theres no semicolon after commands

PEP 8

PEP 8 is the official style guide for Python. It includes comprehensive guidelines for code formatting, variable naming, and making your code easy to read. Professional Python developers are usually required to follow the guidelines, and will often use code-linters like flake8 to verify that the code they're writing complies with the style guide.

i tried to understand the language and honestly i could not click with it like i do with somthn like c# so although i could get rid of that learning curve i do not think ill enjoy it as much as c# or another language

#

yea makes sense

#

and i do genuinely think that python is a "better" language than what i use but i personally just dont enjoy it

#

something strange about it is although it is beginner friendly id rather use c++ more than python because of that learning curve because i enjoy the difficulty of a language

#

im not saying c++ is less or more advanced than python at later stages but in the beginning that difficulty makes it more enjoyable

# nova dove how ez is it

I'm having a problem, I have Python 3.10.0 as the default version so it opens all the python programs in that version now I have installed a newer version of python (3.11.5) but it still opens the programs in 3.10.0 how can I open them in 3.11.5

are you using Python from the terminal?

torch

alpine crow

marble grail

how to do it

#

i am new

marble grail

so idk all

#

oh ok

#

thx

alpine crow

there should be one called path

hha

alpine crow
#

u can add the location to python Ill send a sc

marble grail
#

ok

#

wait

vocal basin
alpine crow
#

yea

vocal basin
#

one of the problems might be that these are in the wrong order

obsidian dragon
#

python --version

vocal basin
#

too many Pythons

marble grail
alpine crow
#

PATH is just basically where your pc looks to run things in cmd

#

yeah so its not installing 3.11 right

marble grail
#

yeah

alpine crow
#

check your appdata to see if its even in there

vocal basin
marble grail
#

finished

vocal basin
obsidian dragon
#

@vocal basin don't --version return first in list or newest, either way, it seems they are not gettign anythng

marble grail
#

i would like to make a streaming to make things much simple but the bot don't make me verify

vocal basin
# marble grail

quite likely:
User Path contains 3.10
System Path contains 3.11

User Path takes priority over System Path

#

did you install 3.11 to C:\Program Files?

marble grail
#

would it work if i add the same thing to the path

#

like 3.11

marble grail
#

think yes

vocal basin
#

then just remove 3.10-related lines from user path variable

#

these three

marble grail
#

wait

ok

done

let's see
