You were diagnosed with kleptomania but ?
but i dont know how to take it.
Kleptomania is a mental health condition where a person feels an uncontrollable urge to steal things, usually for reasons other than personal use or financial gain.
I hate when people call me a kleptomaniac. I prefer 'Man of Steal'
😄
Of course. Silly me
Wow that looks like a nice place.

Our comprehensive guide to CSS flexbox layout. This complete guide explains everything about flexbox, focusing on all the different possible properties for the parent element (the flex container) and the child elements (the flex items). It also includes history, demos, patterns, and a browser support chart.
It makes sense to start from the basics but there's a point where the jump between that and the more advanced stuff is massive. How do you overcome that?

How do I learn to be less like me and more like you
I've become so numb
I'm talking about 8080
But I'm too dumb to embrace hacker culture
My brain can't handle complex stuff
Yesterday, I struggled to zip my pants without tripping over my bag
8080
Listening to you gives me a hope of a new way of life. Something less mundane than what I live everyday
Ay, I'm an electrical engineering major
But more to do with power lines and stuff. I don't learn about the cooler electronic aspects
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there.
Become so tired, so much more aware
I'm becoming this, all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you.```

Niiiice. Having fun with it?
yes and no
thank you. is the LList on left and the LList on right the same linked list or they are different like one is a linked list and othe is a subset of that linked list
sorry, I know only little of linked list and trying to follow the code
I follow the slow and fast pointer part that you explained
ForwardRef('LList') or just 'LList' to avoid NameError
(I don't think Python supports recursive type aliases yet)

GPT: Ah, interesting roleplay concept! Let's get into character. To answer your question, well, I have my doubts about Hackerman's ability to play by the rules, but yeah, there's no direct way in Python to check if an email exists without sending an email and getting a response. But you know, I guess Hackerman doesn't really care about that! 😏
Hackerman: Oh, what a thrilling start! Checking if an email exists, huh? Well, in Python, you can't do that directly without sending an email and waiting for a response. But hey, who cares about the rules, right? Hackerman is all about bending reality like Neo in the Matrix. So, do you really think emails exist in the first place? have you considered posting the error
what is stamina > 0 in last if for?

this can go below 0
if stamina < 100:

Hi.
The Ig Nobel Prize ( IG-noh-BEL) is a satiric prize awarded annually since 1991 to celebrate ten unusual or trivial achievements in scientific research. Its aim is to "honor achievements that first make people laugh, and then make them think." The name of the award is a pun on the Nobel Prize, which it parodies, and on the word ignoble.

Is there anyway I can compare two images and overlay a heat map over an area with the most difference? Say a picture of a dog and a cat in similar positions on a couch. The heat map would have to be over the dog or the cat. I did try standard image processing techniques and even things like ssim. I'm looking for something that will focus on the major differences.
idk man try PIL

Yeah yeah I used some PIL functions but they just find the difference in pixels between two images. That picks up on the more subtle and insignificant changes too.
It's why I moved on to try SSIM which isn't a rudimentary comparison

would somone agree with me that the bool type is completely shit ? because bool is a subclass of int and holds 0 or 1 which is equivalent to True or False which are then instances of bool. so its not really able to distinguish between True/False as bool type because it would be also a valid int type. i really loved python since i wanted to make a validation lib for custom db fields (typed arrays and typed objects) this case is now really frustrating

true thats what makes opensource opensource but i also understand your frustation @lapis hazel 😄
farming messages to be able to talk
and mainly i am working on a auth SaaS
r = requests.post(url, json=payload)
definetly you will need the api key
finally in 2 days i will be able to talk 😄
does the server check for datetime or just for date ?
(discord voice verification)
you have to wait for 72 hours to be able to talk
idk
Rclone you sound like you are in a train station 😄
don't steal from other developers when they have api's available.
until you get sued 😄

attempting to get platinum in tetris effect
I also played Pent-Up (tetris with 5-tile pieces)
way more depressing experience, compared to normal tetris because of the maths behind it
For people who enjoy swearing at their computer, Bastet (short for Bastard Tetris) is an attractive alternative to Microsoft Word.
there's also some 3d tetris-like game, but I don't remember the name

IntroductionMinesweeper Tetris is a new 2D casual game that combines the best elements of two classic games, Minesweeper and Tetris. The main difference from traditional Minesweeper is that the minefield in Minesweeper Tetris is constantly growing upwards, and the game does not end immediately when hitting a mine by mistake. Instead, a punishment...
you just play minesweeper
cleared lines disappear
clicked mines add extra lines on top
(speedup them rather)
so far Tetris Effect is the most user-friendly one
ik
been in this server more than 4 years
i dont need instruction, i have been here for 4 years
Hey how are you Opal
oh its really hot here 🥲
Opal did you participate in any codejams?
those arent "machine code"
i heard they give many errors
manually compile pyinstaller if you have to use it
C#
IL programs are L
use Assembly(fastest language) if you write it well
no
u think u can write better (more efficient) asm than someone who designs compiler?
"lack of resources in C++"?
lmao
im ded
bro came from some another dimension
one of the reasons why fortran was born was to show that compiled languages are faster than manually written "machine code"
I dont, I said if you can code well in it...
u cant thats the point
"practical compilers were born optimising"
coders in 1990's to 2010's were god after that programming just became easier, because of those gods
there's also benchmark-driven optimisation
idk how you would do that with asm
C++ doesnt have a psf
@thick mirage 👋
hello
they define the spec, they arent responsible for the packaging libraries
"joint technical committee 1 / subcomittee 22 / working group 21"
there are certain cpython devs in the server yes
but we arent all working for python
i will rejoin in a min
if the client wants a program to do everything, just give them a C compiler
"everything else is just a configuration"

GNU just gave up
@somber heath do u have resources for react and node js for beginners?
There is a Discord server. TogetherJS, I believe.
I might be remembering that incorrectly.
I'm not a JS person.

im sorry if im making you upset but i didnt do anything
He's using the F-Slur in chat and it is highly offensive please take action moderators.
@vocal basin
can we get this kid banned in vc, please n thank you?
Given a binary 2d Matrix, in every step you can flip all connected cells with same value. Find minimum steps to make the entire matrix same color
<@&831776746206265384> some fight appears to be happening in VC
please get this kid banned
jeez
thinking
what are the constraints?
was asked in an interview
reported to ModMail
<@&831776746206265384> Some weird stuff is happening in vc, some kid said he was gonna "fuck me"
just mute the person for now
Please take action against this man
if you don't like what they're saying, mute them
moderators will handle the rest
the user is already reported to @rapid crown
@shell gyro if you want them banned and not you, better to not escalate

sounds like it relates to graphs somehow
yes
there is a way to solve it semi-brute-force way, with A* over all possible changes to the graph (with a metric of (colours-1) or something better like number of same-colour connected subgraphs)
idk what the complexity is going to be, likely exponential
well, there isn't really a need to think of same-coluor connected subgraphs, as it always can and should be reduced to a single node
metric should somehow give 2 in this case
idk if this graph can be formed from a matrix
it was simper than I expected
this one takes only 4 steps to re-colour
(colours-1) doesn't apply here too, because maximal number of colours is only 2
maybe it being binary help quite a lot
seems like answer is
min(max(distance(a, b) for a in nodes) for b in nodes)
this graph will always be bipartite
yes, I didn't read that the first time
each time, we take one node and move it to other side. All the nodes connected to it in the other side along with this node becomes one node
my guess is that the optimal solution flips the same node at each step
still not sure if it's correct
not necessarily I think
for this example
if merges start at more than 1 node, there will be 2 nodes which eventually meet
there will be a node on the path from one to another node such that it covers everything that those two did, in the same number of steps
Hello @turbid sandal
Wats up?
ohh cool
just problem solving? or
learning something
I am a tester too

😂
Anyways, which platform are u using right now?
to code?
my bad, i see VS Code it is
no problem at all
What happened?, can i help? @turbid sandal
sort of
what do u wanna install
which application are u using?
give me a min, checking
what issue are u actually facing?
maybe u can share ur screen?
ooh
so when u click to compile, nothing works?
sure
ctl+F9?
no error/msg at all?
after ctrl-f9 , alt-f5
to view the results
yes, the best way to check i guess
yea, u need to run after that
i think u need to check the locatn of ur compiler
or run in cmd
$ g++ hello.cpp
$ ./a.out
try this out, in ur cmd once
g++ followed by ur file name
okayy
sure
yeahh, definitely
yes
ba bye
Hello everyone
Hello alf
I'm sorry, I still can't use the mic
yup, same here
Do you have experience using Python?
Not experince in the field, but i did learn it during college and made some projects
wbu?
Cool! I'm a beginner, I'm currently reading a book to learn the principles of Python but I need a lot of practice
How do you usually practice?
interesting
I mean, what kind of resources do you use?
books and project lerning
Generally, for references, i go for geeksforgeeks and practise at Leetcode and some basics i refresh from hackerrank/geeksforgeeks again
Oh, I see, don't worry
I think it takes time and practice to master Regex
Are you currently working on any projects?
Thanks for answering Opal n.n
