The CharaChorder One is an entirely new class of peripheral device which unabashedly casts aside all the rules of traditional typewriting and challenges the status quo of human computer interaction. CharaChorder One features the first ever layout designed for both character entry and chorded entry, as well as 3-D switc
CharaChorder Lite is a simple yet powerful twist on the traditional keyboard. Output individual letters like a typewriter, orย press many letters together simultaneously to output entire words in a single keystroke. This capability allows you to type faster than is physically possible on any other keyboard.

See how to think like a computer science professor. You will observe Raduโs thought process as he codes a project for the first time. Many tutorials demonstrate how to build something that the instructor has already fully planned out beforehand. But in this video you learn what really goes into building a project from scratch. After pasting your code, save it by clicking the floppy disk icon in the top right, or by typing ctrl + S. After doing that, the URL should change. Copy the URL and post it here so others can see it.

It's called "Ladders". It's just a silly little word game: you have two words, and you have to get from one word to the other by changing a single letter at a time
While still making actual words with every step
But the best part is that after each puzzle, you get bad jokes

A little different in that function arguments give a tuple.
@lavish rover So with having structs with strings, is it better to use the char * name; or the other one?
I'm still on hold
Sorry
Just doing more of the learn-c page while I wait
no worries, in structs it depends
do you want the struct to actually hold the full string, or just a pointer to it
What's the difference? I mean I know the pointer would be lighter to pass around, but I'm just not sure what the actual impact would be one way or the other
yeah so generally, whenever you try to pass an array to a function, it only passes a pointer to it
the "decaying" I talked about yesterday, same is true for strings
except for structs
a struct is always passed by value (unless you explicitly take an address)
so if you have a struct with the full array in it, passing that struct around will create a copy of the full struct, including the array in it
more often than not in practice people end up just putting in a pointer in the struct, but there are valid use cases where you might want the copy-array behaviour
storing the full array in the struct might also help avoid a separate heap allocation (for the actual space to put the string in case of pointers)
The Cyber Swiss Army Knife - a web app for encryption, encoding, compression and data analysis
albeit a niche use case
is it better to use the char * name; or the other one
tldr; there's no better, generally char * will do, but sometimes you might need the other
Fair
I need to review the difference between heap and stack, too. Like I feel like I almost have it but not quite.
Also, 20 minutes and still on hold
The main considerations for me are whether it has a fixed length and when will the string be deallocated.
I'll still be talking here, just hopping off the call proper to save bandwidth
essentially, the stack is the "temporary space" that you use for function local variables, etc. when you make a new call, you get a new stackframe, etc. it's suuuuper fast to use the stack, but you don't want to be allocating too much space on it + more importantly once a function call returns it's stack space is cleared
kind of, yeah
heap is storage off the stack, and if you want allocate data that persists even after the function has returned you would want some space there
PS1='\e[32;1m\u@\h: \e[37m\W\e[0m\$'
the cons being that it is generally much slower to allocate on the heap, because somebody (in this case LibC/the kernel) needs to manage which blocks of memory on the heap have been used etc so they can be freed later properly
much slower to allocate on the stack
Do you mean on the heap?
NO MORE MEMES ON PYTHON'S EXECUTION SPEED!!!
is this actually real?

It shouldn't matter either way, but convention is PATH
Windows isn't case sensitive, in most case
Yeah, so long as you still have a PATH in your System Environmental Variables, you should be good
That's the system one?
nope
Should be fine
cause of that
I'm not sure
See if you have a system restore point
how can i found one
Not sure what it would be in your language, but typically you'd look up system restore in the start menu

funny while I am debugging this new script, it keep failing after processing 88 items, about 10 times in a row now.. after fixing the 88th item each time :/
lol it's gonna happen again.. sigh
doh, I guess I know why it stops at 88 now.. it's the last failed number, so even though i've processed well above 88 of them.. number 89 is always going to be the new fail..
I realize that doesnt make sense, but it's 88 known errors, with the 89th being some new error :/
