The typing was really not a problem xD
It was more about potential hand issues from typing for some long!
It means np.array is mutable?
Quite the rabbit hole.
@barren terrace If you're wondering why you can't talk, check out the #voice-verification channel
That'll tell you what you need to know about our voice gate system
hey Mr. Hemlock
But you can always talk in this channel, and if we're in VC we'll typically be watching it so no one gets left out of the convo
I can't able to suppressed my mute
It says i do not have permission to speak in the channel
Looks like it is not working
Send !voiceverify in #voice-verification. The bot will DM you to let you know what conditions you still need to meet
lmao i need to send at least 50 messages
btw actually i need abit of help with my school stuff does anyone in this voice chat can help me out
What's your question?
What's the problem you're having with it?
I have no idea which is the best answer to fit into the best solution
.
so i actually need to do is to answer 1. Feature, 2. Lab or 3. Target variable and fill in the best answer that suits in the right hand side fake, fake, tweet text, etc.

No idea, never done any kind of machine learning stuff, so I wouldn't even know what the terms mean
same too it is new to me
I did even try for so many attempts I still didn't get it right
Footkerchief for the flexible.
I like meat, but there is such a thing as excess.
Oh hi @amber raptor - Guess what?
My dad told me that my home lab was using too much electricity and generating too much heat, so he wanted it gone.
So I sold the servers and bought Digital Ocean Droplets.
He checked the DO bill and decided it was too expensive, and now we're buying a server to self host again
Am I a real enterprise person now?
Move to cloud for costs, and then leave cloud for costs....
@quasi condorits a videogame aimed at teenage boys o- o ofc velma gets added first
Why not Daphne?
there's entire subreddits of just velma picking up her glasses
Very enterprise about management changing their minds.
Speaking of - any recommendation's for backups?
I don't think I want to backup the entire thing - just a couple of data directories
@quasi condoryou think he might be creating a real room instead of one inside brawlhalla
?
Also - I used Ubuntu Server LTS Minimized instead of Arch Linux
Will the SREs hate me less now?
Cronjob to copy to Amazon S3
Most other solutions are expensive
That actually sounds expensive
I haven't looked at it in a while though
Oh right I forgot how cheap storage is
And it's just backup, so I can even throw it in Glacier and be done with it
Honestly just sounds automated to me
776711
You could also look at Backblaze offering, it has S3 APIs
So does DO's new storage thing
It's kind of neat how Amazon sets the standard for everybody
It’s not setting a standard, it’s just letting people convert via drop in
Yeah, it does it itself
I'm actually lying with this picture
It's just say the USB I plugged in is invalid
Not sure why though - I've been using the same one daily for months

Hello everyone
The switch statement evaluates an expression, matching the expression's value against a series of case clauses, and executes statements after the first case clause with a matching value, until a break statement is encountered. The default clause of a switch statement will be jumped to if no case matches the expression's value.

I've never used Django, but..
This has a number of caveats though:
- The model’s save() method will not be called, and the pre_save and post_save signals will not be sent.
- https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/3.0/ref/models/querysets/#bulk-create (emphasis theirs)
Looks like you're going to have have to call .save() to commit your transaction in between the .bulk_create()s.
You might have more luck in #web-development or a help channel, doesn't look like there's much Django knowledge in VC today

abc
!if-name-main
if __name__ == '__main__'
This is a statement that is only true if the module (your source code) it appears in is being run directly, as opposed to being imported into another module. When you run your module, the __name__ special variable is automatically set to the string '__main__'. Conversely, when you import that same module into a different one, and run that, __name__ is instead set to the filename of your module minus the .py extension.
Example
# foo.py
print('spam')
if __name__ == '__main__':
print('eggs')
If you run the above module foo.py directly, both 'spam'and 'eggs' will be printed. Now consider this next example:
# bar.py
import foo
If you run this module named bar.py, it will execute the code in foo.py. First it will print 'spam', and then the if statement will fail, because __name__ will now be the string 'foo'.
Why would I do this?
• Your module is a library, but also has a special case where it can be run directly
• Your module is a library and you want to safeguard it against people running it directly (like what pip does)
• Your module is the main program, but has unit tests and the testing framework works by importing your module, and you want to avoid having your main code run during the test
OH BTW, @rugged root - Look what Ionite did - letsbuilda/clidogs#5

By 2018, we launched our first crypto service: Fidelity Digital Assets℠, an institutional custody and trading platform for digital assets. As the world of crypto evolves, we’re committed to unlocking new investment opportunities for our investors.

Star / Wildcard imports
Wildcard imports are import statements in the form from <module_name> import *. What imports like these do is that they import everything [1] from the module into the current module's namespace [2]. This allows you to use names defined in the imported module without prefixing the module's name.
Example:
>>> from math import *
>>> sin(pi / 2)
1.0
This is discouraged, for various reasons:
Example:
>>> from custom_sin import sin
>>> from math import *
>>> sin(pi / 2) # uses sin from math rather than your custom sin
• Potential namespace collision. Names defined from a previous import might get shadowed by a wildcard import.
• Causes ambiguity. From the example, it is unclear which sin function is actually being used. From the Zen of Python [3]: Explicit is better than implicit.
• Makes import order significant, which they shouldn't. Certain IDE's sort import functionality may end up breaking code due to namespace collision.
How should you import?
• Import the module under the module's namespace (Only import the name of the module, and names defined in the module can be used by prefixing the module's name)
>>> import math
>>> math.sin(math.pi / 2)
• Explicitly import certain names from the module
>>> from math import sin, pi
>>> sin(pi / 2)
Conclusion: Namespaces are one honking great idea -- let's do more of those! [3]
[1] If the module defines the variable __all__, the names defined in __all__ will get imported by the wildcard import, otherwise all the names in the module get imported (except for names with a leading underscore)

*Run Python code and get the results.
This command supports multiple lines of code, including code wrapped inside a formatted code block. Code can be re-evaluated by editing the original message within 10 seconds and clicking the reaction that subsequently appears.
If multiple codeblocks are in a message, all of them will be joined and evaluated, ignoring the text outside of them.
By default your code is run on Python's 3.11 beta release, to assist with testing. If you run into issues related to this Python version, you can request the bot to use Python 3.10 by specifying the python_version arg and setting it to 3.10.
