this is oddly specific, but is anyone having issues on Linux, opening links on Firefox from Discord? every time I click on a link on here, if Firefox is not running already, a new process is spawned under the name GeckoMain and the command /usr/lib/firefox/firefox whatever-link-i-clicked-on, but no window ever pops up. If I kill the process, then Chromium comes to the rescue

kali is fine if you're a student setting up a vm for the intended use of kali. kali makes it easier to get a class full of students all on the same page and able to test certain things. It's a good starting point for doing CTF and games like hackthebox and tryhackme.

it's really not where you should start with learning linux unless you're enrolled in such a class tho

The primary trouble with using kali is that everyone will assume things about you (mainly that you're ignorant) if you talk about using kali lol.

And a lot of times theyre probably not wrong.
