I also see a lot of people saying Genndy learned from ||Samurai Jack’s original finale but I like how Primal “ended” not just because Spear gets to have a happy ending but because it feels earned. If Spear stayed a zombie the whole way through only for a Wizard to show up at the last episode and just make him not dead, that would be stupid. It’s a lot different from one ending Ashi lives VS. one ending Ashi dies but neither feel thought out or like they naturally play out.||

Yes and No, at least for me growing up I didn't feel she was that awful of a character that she's said to be.
Though I should say I have the bias that this was a massive comfort show in that it takes place in my state so its very realistic women like her exist around me. In a way it made her realistically written to be someone that has good ideas/morals/values but has a very idealistic or misguided way of showing them.
If anything, I think people reacting to her that way shows shes pretty well written as a character. That she makes you feel annoyed because of her realistic stubborn traits, or that shes funny because of her other quirks.

Okay so I definitely wouldn't say the movie was terrible, but it did have multiple plots that just got drowned out. Like ||Mario liking Peach|| or ||Peach and Rosalina being sisters||.
You would've thought there'd be more time spent on that second plot towards the end, but no.
As I suspected, Rosalina didn't get to do much in general. The fact Fox might have gotten more screentime than her is pretty pathetic.
Bowser is surprisingly the best character in this movie.
And like the first movie, I did love the animation and action scenes.
||I was genuinely surprised by Daisy being a thing, considering Peach kinda took her role as a tough tomboyish princess. But they had Daisy throw hands, so.....maybe they'll both be that role?||
