Literally nobody knew about Cleo in space as a book series before the show or at least only the niche people who read it did and anyone who worked near books/comics.

My guess is Dreamworks wanted the success of CU so they looked for another graphic novel to adapt

• The unicorn debut episode being written then hijacked by other writers to twist it into a 'trans inclusive' episode so they can earn some brownie points without actually writing a trans character. And also makes any form of surgery/change look bad and scary

• Said unicorn is later just annoying and useless

• A musical segment where Bubbles specifically is dressed in clothing a child should not really be depicted wearing and ended up looking like her evil version "Brat" funny enough

• Same rap sequence having watermarked photos youd find on google cause apparently they couldnt pay the cheap price for the rights to generic images

• Various episodes just generally coming off as gross and unfunny cause the writers have no sense of humor

• Writers also being egotistically pretentious and shoving their names in places more than once

• Plots you think would go somewhere or have potential and then they dont. They just dont.
