Thats exactly why I dont like it. Ive been told through years "THIS IS DO GOOD IT WAS MY CHILDHOOD!!!" and that tells me nothing of the quality of writing, the themes/plots/tropes, or even characters. And then I try it and its either not for me or just not good in some places.

That depends. The original is more accurate, the 4kids dub is iconically bad in a really funny way

4kids as a company is iconically bad and very specific to the US since they went to absurd lengths to censor stuff that didnt even need to be censored. Its why people joke about onigiri rice being called a 'jelly donut' since 4kids for some reason thought kids couldnt comprehend compressed rice in a triangle. Sonic had alot of its text removed and not even properly replaced or translated, and One Piece....was a mistake.

Kirby specifically became known for its now more cartoony opening theme song I can remember to this day, censoring any instances of guns, making Metaknight basically sound like Puss in Boots, King Dedede sound like a US southern oil tycoon, and alot of goofy writing along with obvious cuts to when the anime did mention darkness or evil aspects.

Shes the pastors wife in the town and often is written as a woman who often thinks of herself a bit higher than thou and is often the one to say "THINK OF THE CHILDREN" first. She's also been written and seen to often bully Marge because of her more middle class status or at least assumed lack of decorum that Helen thinks she herself has.

I remember the episode Marge was quite handy with building/constructing/house repair but nobody took her seriously as a woman doing repairs so she had Homer pose as the 'face' of her business and then would hide in the equipment Homer brought with him, do the work and hide again so people trusted the handiwork because a man showed up

There was a scene of her shopping at some hardware store and I belive it was helen that saw her there and said something like "Oh marge, picking up more supplies for your handy husband?" with a laugh because she also, being Helen Lovejoy assumed that Marge was incompetent at even comprehending the job and didnt know a wrench from a screwdriver.

Early poof captured that very mischevious kids know what theyre doing kind of activity and its pretty true in alot of cases. Kids can outsmart parents. Anais did in TAWOG and shes pretty young
