Board is Esper Sentinel, Feather the Redeemed, Longshot for opponent.
Aftermath Analyst + Vernal Fen + Bayou for me.
Wasn't given the option to discard Harvester during their combat step, despite no speed restrictions on effect.
Had to use DevCheats to correct the board, as I should have been able to discard Harvester after attacks are made, to weaken Longshot to a 1/1, to die to my 1/3 Aftermath Analyst.

Do you have those phases toggled on? If you don't have them on then the game will skip your priority and you won't be able to do combat tricks.

I have on my phases: Upkeep, Main 1, Declare Attackers, Declare Blockers, End Combat, Main 2, End Step.
I have on for my opponent: Upkeep, Main 1, Begin Combat, Declare Attackers, Declare Blockers, First Strike Damage, Main 2, End Turn.
Somewhere in there I should have had priority but it was skipped 😄

Well, if you do have those on then the only reasonable conclusion is that you accidentally skipped through your priority. I just checked Harvester of Misery and it works as intended.
I should specify that I'm on snapshot 12.21 since I just saw that you are on 12.01. Could be the difference, but I kinda doubt it.
