Issue persists on 7-12 snapshot
(and through disabled deck conformance)
Typing it out and importing from clipboard works as a manual workaround
eg.
Commander:
1 Yenna, Redtooth Regent
Main: ```
(which works but understandably sucks)
Probably something I missed when doing the mobile deck editor rework. I'll take a look later today.

However, it may take a bit before someone has time to review it. I didn't have much luck wrapping my head around why the code I changed to fix it was written the way that it was. As noted there, it had a comment on it that indicated it was switching some behaviors from quest commander mode to plain quest mode in order to fix some issue with saving, but I only had a guess as to what that original issue was. I've asked around to see if anyone else knows, but haven't gotten any responses yet. So someone else may need to take a shot at digging into it before they can give the all clear. Last thing anyone wants is to wipe out a save file.
I believe the mode does keep backups so it's not that nerve-wracking, but still, Chesterton's Fence is a principle I adhere to closely when working on a large collaborative project.
You can watch there for any changes in status.

I imported a deck using said work around and didn't change the name, so it just deleted the old one ;_;
So uh, don't do that

Hmm I think the Quest Commander mode is incomplete addon IIRC, don't really know what is the intended world by the original author. Planar Conquest is much better but it's not available on Desktop GUI due to graphics engine it uses.
Ah, I got the impression that it was kinda an afterthought in its current state. I'll confess to only having the briefest amount of experience with Quest at all, let alone Quest Commander. But if at least the deck editor worked before I touched it, then I would like to get that back in working order.

personally Edh quest is about 70% of my forge gaming (25%+ being nonedh quest)
always really hated planar conquest, I think I've tried it like twice, the way you get cards feels terrible to me

Or in any other mode's deck editor in the Mobile UI. I did change a lot under the hood to get support for extra deck sections.
