#Card art doesn't always match the set it's from and I can't figure out why.

The problem with SLD is it's an evolving set where they're always adding new versions of the same card, so unless you're updating your images manually it's not able to keep up with the correct artwork. For an example (I'm making these numbers up):
Wizards' releases an SLD Counterspell card (collector number 10), Forge names it Counterspell.fullborder
Wizards' releases another SLD Counterspell (collector number 50), Forge names it Counterspell2.fullborder
Wizards' releases another SLD Counterspell (collector number 25), Forge names it Counterspell3.fullborder
The images are now out of order. Nobody really has the time to keep these up to date and renaming them correctly. Even if we did, once you have Counterspell2.fullborder on your hard drive, you'd have to manually delete it yourself to get the new updated correct version.
It's just too time consuming. As annoying as it is, I'd recommend when you see these kind of problems, it's likely something similar to the above and the only real fix is to delete/replace manually as we unfortunately don't have a way inside Forge to replace images etc.
Ah okay that makes sense. Is it the same issue with some non SLD sets? Am I just better off manually updating images if I want to be anal about it?
Possibly yeah but depends on the set. Our collector numbers don't always match Scryfall for various reasons. Tbh we need a proper audit of all of that and the images on our ftp at some point but finding the time to do that isn't easy. But yeah unfortunately, the fastest and easiest way is do it yourself
I think the majority should work fine though, just those edge cases
Awesome thank you!
