How can I see where it gets the text from? Also, some cards aren't translated, any way I can add a translation to the text?

Within your forge installation, check the following files.

Card translations for Portuguese can be found here:
forge-gui\res\languages\cardnames-pt-BR.txt

UI elements in Forge that are not a part of cards have translations in the same directory:
forge-gui\res\languages\pt-BR.properties (Despite the file extension this should be usable by any text editor)

If you would like to contribute changes / additions, the source files for both are located at https://github.com/Card-Forge/forge/tree/master/forge-gui/res/languages

It does look like someone added updates to the card file about 3 weeks ago, but they should already be included within the snapshot version that you are running.

The file is updated manually, yes. I don't know details beyond that really.
