Hey guys, I know it’s awkward choosing a Chinese name being a foreigner, but could you please help me? I was given the name Jiāyí 嘉怡 by my teacher, but for what I’ve seen is a very popular name and I want to change it to something not so popular, but also not old-fashioned or unnatural.
I really like the name Jíyí 吉怡 but couldn’t find anything related to it. Is it a weird sounding name?
Also how does Jiayu 佳玉 sound?
