#Simplified Chinese, Pinyin Input Keyboard on Linux?

You can download a noon input method, such as Sogou input method or Baidu input method.
do you know which pinyin input method you're using on rime? @rocky sinew
like terra pinyin etc
depending on what you're using, you can probably type F4 to bring up the input method settings
and selecting something that looks like 漢字-->汉字 or 简体-->繁體 will switch to simplified
see here for more details

i haven't touched rime in several months so my memory is a bit rusty
I tried reading the github documentation but at a point it goes into just chinese and I didn't know where to proceed from there.
I see I see
can you elaborate on what noon and baidu input methods are?
You can download the software in Google.com or BaiDu.com,open the web to search
oh yeah i just rely on the arch linux documentation
it's better that you provide more info

sudo apt install ibus ibus-pinyin
This failed me. Likely I failed it tbh. But I deleted arch as a result lol.
