have you used Astarion in combat?

you can use 'cunning action: hide' and if you're not in any sightlines, you'll be hiding and can make some sneaky attackies

#

but the swashbuckler can do a critical (melee or ranged) sneak attack once per turn if an enemy is either not within 2m of another enemy or one of your allies is next to them

#

which has been VERY useful for me

last run i had my astarion be the class that gets double bonus action which lets you sprint AND sneak (cunning actions like dash and hide are under bonus actions)

or make an off-hand attack with the silencing dagger, there's many interesting things to do

There’s some instances where a character reacts, imo, realistically—you made a choice that affected them without their knowledge, and basically their entire life now has to change.

In this case, ||I was under the impression Mol believed she could out-scam Raphael. You can see a bit of this in their chess game at the Inn. So killing Raphael robs her of the future she’d schemed.||

Lol yeah he ran out and immediately attempted to thrall a gnome I think to fight me, and I counterspelled him, cornered him with my entire party, and beat him in about a turn and a half
