having issues when brother connects to me online and we start a match during load screen he disconnects when i join him we get the grey tunnel we are on the same versions we have privado weve swapped ip in network settings to no avail

i think the problems on my end when i try to join him i cant connect i get the red circle

i tried turning off all my firewalls same effect

when i host my connection says good when he connects i fail so that makes me think its an issue on my end but as ive turned off firewalls tried vpns turned off vpns nothing works not sure how to proceed

same version went through multiple ips still cant connect to him also i wasnt using privado when i connected to people online @fiery dagger also he turned off firewalls aswell still cannot

Weird I had the same issue yesterday but switching the ips fixes it

We just switched to the same alternate IP that our vpns gave us

ya we have yet to be able to play with each other which sucks cus we used to back in the day, and been having nothing but problems its been making him turn away from cnc completley

If ur not already use Netherlands as ur setting for the vpn

we even went as far as downloading hamachi to try play in network but we didnt show up there either

some screen shots, our connections good but when we start we get this he gets the disconnect menu im stuck on loading when he hits quit then i get this screen aswell for him

so i found someone having the exact same issue as i but on zero hour they said they updated "gentool" what is that and could that help me on kanes wrath??

he said he was able to connect to others but i think he misunderstood as i watched him stream screen on discord when he joined someone random started game he was discconected during game load aswell

I also found this https://www.moddb.com/games/cc-generals/downloads/new-fixed-ultimate-collection-launchers-v101 when looking up our issue but seems it's for origins or ea now wondering if anyone's used this and knows if it works as it said it was a virus downloading so my brother said he didn't want to unless was trusted

Privado VPN Instructions

Getting the VPN and setting it up:

  1. Go to https://signup.privadovpn.com/free
  2. Select the "10 GB limit" plan
  3. Enter the E-Mail address you want to use with your account
  4. Click "Create Your Free Account"
  5. Verify your account with the link sent to your email
  6. The website will now display you your password for the love of god save these credentials
  7. Click the "Download PrivadoVPN for Windows" button beneath your login credentials (in case you cant find it)
  8. Install the program and run the set-up
  9. Now you can choose between taking the tour or just starting the app, up to you
    ​
    Setting the app up correctly:
  10. Select the "Settings" button (bottom left of the window that opened)
  11. Select the "Bypass" option (NOT the tunnel option!)
  12. Now add all applications on your device that you know are eating much of your internet data, like browsers and Steam. This way, you will prevent going over your 10 GB limit too fast. Make sure NOT to add any of the Command & Conquer games to this list, otherwise they won't work
  13. Set the location the VPN connects to, to "The Netherlands" to assure its functionality
  14. Exit the settings
  15. Enable the VPN by clicking on *"Click to Connect" * within Privado

What to do in game:

  1. Open "Settings/Options"
  2. Go to "Network"
  3. You will find alternative IP-addresses in a drop down menu. Select a different one. Know that these IP-addresses are NOT the same as the one shown within Privado
  4. Now try to connect to multiplayer
  5. If it still doesn't work: go back to step 1 of this section and try any alternative IP-addresses that are still left in the dropdown menu.
  6. Let us know whether any of them worked.
