Sorry to bother about mods again. I got most mods working and I know how to do it now, but when mods need extra steps per se their a little complicated. Like tiberium essence comes with a mod file called "TiberiumEssence" so the game browser recognizes it, I was actually able to get one version of it working. But the forgotten mod files only come with mod file "1.2.1 zip" as an example. It's there a specific version I'm supposed to install first for different mods? Just a rundown would be appreciated if yall have experience installing the forgotten mod or other such mods.

Hi again
That mod has 3 different packages you need to download
but the installation process is the same
first download this:
https://www.moddb.com/mods/cc-3-the-forgotten/downloads/the-forgotten-132-core
unpack it
it should give you a folder, which you're going to place inside the Mods folder of the game
then you have to download two other packages and put them inside the forgotten mod's folder which is now in Mods
and
all of the mods file should be in the same folder
send me a screenshot so i can confirm if you've done it correctly
Thx! You guys are life saver. When you mean unpack ehoukd I extract it?
yes. extract
you're welcome. have fun playing
The mod keeps crashing with an error. Is there a possibility I did it wrong? It appears in the game browser now, but when I load up skirmish it crashes.
I have 1.09 installed so I don't think that the issue.
Got campaign to work but skirmish still crashes.
yes, it's most likely wrong. but it shouldn't crash in skirmish
take the files inside the campaign and music folders out of them
btw, skirmish can also crash if you have too many custom maps installed
Yeah I don't have any installed I just use the official maps for better running.
I got it to work fully it was the skirmish int file that was causing the problem
I think it could of got corrupted while installing or something idk but everything works now
that was gonna be my suggestion after the map count
yes. it can sometimes get bugged
removing the skirmish.ini file makes the game reset it to default settings
Thx, the mod being more vanilla definitely helps my pc run better as battles get bigger.
