When trying to play co-op campaign with my family member, the 1-2 connection error pops up.

GG @whole juniper, you just advanced to level 1!

Also, when trying to create a game, with both of us having installed Privado free VPN, the host left the game error pops up to me.

After activating privado?

whole juniper
#

Yes, I did just that, and I am testing it right now.

#

Hm, still the 1-2 connection error, and I had configured the Privado VPN according the guide, Smartroute tunnel,

#

And both IPs are also set by the guide

#

The port is normal by the Tacitus, the problem is even when I ticked the alternative one on both PCs, I turned that off now.

Well, I am of course not sure what other guide to use.

From the earlier reports, you mentioned using Privado VPN, so I went with that, but other than that, I need help to find the cause of that connection error.

Logically, yes, depending on internals of the Tacitus.

# whole juniper Also here is the log if it can help.

What I'm understanding from the log file is that Tacitus is unable to access C&C Online's servers, which is an odd thing given the fact that you are using a VPN. It's very likely that there is a restrictive firewall prohibiting access

Okay, how do I turn off windows firewall, or at least make it so it does not mess with the Tacitus?

It is actually better to add an exception for the game. But to temporarily test the case with the firewall off, you can disable it by going to the control panel, then windows firewall, and then turning it off. For Windows 10 and 11, you can also go to Windows Security (by typing it in the start menu), then Firewall and Network Protection, and finally disabling the firewall.

#

Remember to not keep it disabled. Only do it for testing and then enable it again

whole juniper
#

Still nothing.

manic salmon

And had privado enabled?

#

at the same time?

whole juniper
#

Yes, but my father found an IP problem in my PC, he is still looking for the source, his computer through CMD, could not see mine.

manic salmon
#

What anti-virus do you have installed?

whole juniper
#

ESET, but it is most likely hardware problem, not the software one.

manic salmon
#

Some anti-virus are really messing with C&C:Online

#

Where are you from btw?

#

Many people here in the Netherlands use ESET

#

(though I honestly don't know why haha, Windows Defender is just as good if not better)

whole juniper
#

I live in Slovakia, but in my house there are 2 networks, we are looking for the problem

manic salmon
#

From how many routers?

whole juniper
#

Main one in a different room, and one in the living room, it is complex here.

So, it was found out that it is purely technical issue on my side, sorry for bother.
