what do I do when it says "different game version" when trying to join game

I have just installed Genpatcher and Gentool- confirm to be running version 1.04

All that seems to be working but when i start a game it comes up with cannot join room as different game version

But I suspect your friend being on an older version or on a old disc version. Or maybe has installed mods.

I do have one final question, port forwarding - what ports am I forwarding on my router?

I have had a couple of instances where I cannot connect to players for whatever reason, maybe they use a vpn and this could be why I cannot connect without port forwarding?

Any insight would be helpful
