Hello,
Since I installed tacticus, I keep having issues with RA3.
When I start RA3 (i have steam), it gives the start screen and that's where it ends..
Last time I wanted to play, i uninstalled the game on steam and reinstalled, then it worked again. However I have the same issue again now. Will be difficult to keep uninstalling and installing each time I want to play.

I've added -runver 1.12 in properties in steam instead of -fullscreen, now it works again

It is likely that it tries to sync the game's Documents folder and thus blocking the game froma accessing it. Can you temporarily shut down dropbox for diagnosis of your issue and see if that resolves it. If so, we will work towards a permanent solution.

I was able to play without problems yesterday with settings still as -runver 1.12 but now I'm having the same issue again, shut down dropbox but still not resolved
I also disabled dropbox to make any backups from documents folder and so on, rebooted, but still the same issue
went to cnc online, downloaded and installed tacticus again but no difference

That stuff is as crappy as it can be
Windows Defender is much better with less bloat and scammy tactics
Had someone else before that had issues with the CnC games because of this

Didn't the pop-ups from AVG annoy the crap out of you?
Also uninstall any optimizers or network utilities installed by AVG

I deleted the game from steam, reinstalled the game. started the game, gave me pop up for tacticus, started the game, CTRL+T to put to 1.12 version, and it stated
im in the online lobby now

it only worked again after i removed red alert 3 in steam and redownloaded it
after removing AVG, it still didnt work, even when shutting down pc completely
