Hi all
I have tried using steam workshop maps to play online with and the person I am playing with has also subscribed to the maps, and none of them work. We both go on skirmish and see we have the maps but doesn't allow us to play together. We are on latest version, do we need to downgrade?(See Attached)
Is there a way to get around this? Or is it a known thing and I am blind to something

Is there any specific error that youre getting or could you provide a description of how the crash occurs and if it only occurs when you try playing together/try playing together with specifically custom maps.
There is also a chance that maps made on an older game version may crash on newer ones.

So I've tried something it works, so when we add from workshop, we need to gointo the workshop folders and get the map from there and put it into the maps folder for RA3

Yeah, so if I'm correct, maps don't get ready by both the load replays feature (internal known issue) as well as the network transfer feature because those systems are setup to work from the Maps folder instead of the workshop folder.
CCHyper is gonna have a field day with this 😂

For me, folders within C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\17480
17480 being the SteamID of RA3

Added it as a known issue to the internal known issues list for CCHyper
Trying to get help regarding testing to see if this is happening also for TW and KW
