Player to player connection problem

Hello i want to play with my friends but there is that connection error sign.
is there any way to solve this without a vpn? it was running a few months ago without any problems or vpns.

Port forwarding, you need access to your modem router. if you both cant connect to anyone you both have to do port forwarding.
